Man schrieb das Jahr 2000... Winter... es ist düster... Schnee fällt... einige Gräber des örtlichen Friedhofs sind aufgebrochen ... die Särge offen und leer ... die hiesige Bevölkerung in Aufruhr ... Wo sind die Leichen hin? ... Angst und Panik machen sich breit ... auf einmal mitten in der Nacht ... martialischer Lärm ... METAL! ... die Untoten sind da ... THRASH METAL ZOMBIE ATTACK!

Die Kölner Band POWER wurde im Winter 2000 von fünf Rabauken gegründet und spielt bis heute in der Gründungsbesetzung. Musikalisch war man sich schnell einig, ordentlich Arsch zu treten, so dass eigentlich nur Thrash-Metal in Frage kam. Charakteristisch an der Musik von POWER ist der Gesang von Stef, dessen Stimmspektrum von tiefen Growls über aggressive Thrash-Shouts bis hin zu einem klaren und melodiösen Gesang reicht. Dieser wird unterlegt von brachialen Gitarren-Riffs im Mid- bis Uptempo-Bereich und einem volle-Granate-in-die-Fresse-Schlagzeug-Spiel. Daneben tritt die Live-Show als gleich-berechtigtes Element: Unmengen an Blut und Energie, ein Zombie-Orchester, das auf brutalste Weise sein Instrumente malträtiert und ein Shouter, der selbst die müdesten Untoten aus ihren Gräbern herauslockt.

Live hat sich die Band die Bühne schon mit ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTETT, DEW SCENTED, SOULDEMISE, MOTORJESUS, JACK SLATER, BLOOD RED ANGEL, KATAFALK und vielen mehr geteilt. Ziel für die Zukunft ist es, auf möglichst vielen Auftritten die Lebenden zu verderben, Nackenwirbel zum Brechen zu bringen und Blut zu vergießen als wäre es Wasser ... BEWARE OF THE THRASH METAL ZOMBIES!

It was the year 2000 ... Winter ... it is dark ... it is snowing ... some graves of the local cemetery are broken open. the coffins open and empty. the local population in riot. where are the corpses? . Fear and panic expand. suddenly in the middle of the night. martial noise. METAL! . the undead have come. THRASH METAL ZOMBIE ATTACK!

The cologne band POWER was founded in winter 2000 by five ruffians and plays until today in the established occupation. Musically they agreed quickly to kick ass so that actually only Thrash Metal came into question. Characteristically for the music of POWER ist the singing of Stef whose vocal range reaches from deep Growls over aggressive Thrash Shouts up to a clear and melodic singing. This is underlaid with brute guitar riffs in the Mid to the Uptempo arrea and with a smack-in-the-puss-drum-play.

Besides the live-show steps as an equal element: Enormous amounts of blood and energy, a Zombie orchestra which maltreats its instruments in the most brutal way and a Shouter who draws even the most tired undeads out of their graves. The band already shared the stage live with ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET, DEW SCENTED, SOULDEMISE, MOTORJESUS, JACK SLATER, BLOOD TALKS FISHING ROD, KATAFALK and many more. A goal for the future is it to spoil on as much appearances as possible the living creatures, to get neck eddies broken and to pour blood as if it is water. BEWARE OF THE THRASH METAL ZOMBIES!
